Very scarce. No copies in the trade or in auctions. Only two institutional holdings according to OCLC and KVK, the one of the “Martynas Mažvydas” National Library of Lithuania (a rebound copy), and the one of Kent State Uni Library (Ohio). -- The author’s first book, an avant-garde and satirical “poem” in three parts, each one — more or less explicitly — parodying Lithuanian writer: respectively, the poets Faustas Kirša and Jouzas Tysliava, and the versatile Lithuanian-Polish writer Juozapas Albinas Herbačauskas. The parody effect is achieved by clashing the high symbolist style of the originals with lowbrow pop and typically avant-garde vocabulary. Tilvytis, after the leader Binkis, is considered the second important figure among the «Keturi Vėjai» group, and a poet of great versification skills. «T.
