Description
No marks or inscriptions. Crease to upper corner of front cover, none to rear or to spine. A very clean very tight copy with bright covers and no bumping to corners. 163pp. The Free Trade Hall, one of Manchester's most important buildings and the home of the Halle Orchestra until 1997 was first erected in 1840 by the Anti-Corn Law League. It has served as a concert hall, public meeting place, sporting arena, theatre, exhibition centre, music hall, cinema and church. It is a unique vantage point from which to view the history of Manchester over 150 years.
