Spine with gilt title. = With detailed illustrations of crabs and other crustaceans, often emphasizing on taxonomically important parts, and nice vignettes with seaside scenes. Dedicated by the author, Thomas Bell, president of the Linnean Society, to Richard Owen. Large autograph of former owner on the half-title, along with another, quite modest owner's inscription, dated 1933. Spine top a bit chipped. A good copy.
