2 vols., 8vo., First Edition, with frontispieces in photogravure (original tissue guards present), titles and half-titles in red and black, 39 plates (all original tissue guards present), 7 large folding pedigrees on japon, 3 pedigrees in the text and armorial endpapers in silver and burgundy, neat signatue on front free endpaper, some mild spotting throughout as usual; original burgundy buckram armorial gilt, gilt backs, gilt tops, uncut, backstrips lightly faded, upper hinge of first volume starting (but binding entirely sound), a very good, bright, clean copy.
