First edition, 4to (285 x 225 mm), [8], 120pp., with half-title, printed on heavy stock paper, illustrated with 13 aquatints by S. Alkin after J. Smith, marbled endpapers, smartly bound in contemporary black morocco by Alexander Macnair, with his binderís ticket, fillet and floral border to boards, spine tooled in gilt with five raised bands with double gilt band, some light rubbing, all edges gilt, an attractive copy. Provenance: With contemporary Booksellerís ticket of R. Stanes, Chelmsford; Aromrial engraved bookplate of Robert Westley Hall-Dare (1789ñ1836). Abbey, Travel 513.
