The process is characterized by a sequence of stages referring to a change of the surface and a delimitation of the form. These stages enable the spectator to clearly identify and anticipate this process. They do not appear one after another or side by side, out one on top of another. This implies that Dekkers' works exist only as reliefs or spatial configurations.
