Allegata una lettera datata al 23 giugno 1933 del prof. W. E. Burghardt Du Bois (Spelman College, Atlanta, GA) destinata a William Leo Hansberry (Washington D.C.); l'intestazione della pagina recita "Editorial rooms of The Crisis, New York - National Association for the Advancement of Colored People"; da questa lettera possiamo desumere il periodo del documento nel suo insieme, non altrimenti datato.
