This is a very good softcover copy with just light wear. Very clean, but a few marks to the half title-page, small gray smudges. Otherwise completely clean throughout. Text in Russian. Alexei Ilich Kravchenko (1889- 1940), was a Russian painter, illustrator, draughtsman and printmaker. Though Kravchenko first gained recognition as a romantic painter, he was best known during his lifetime as a book illustrator and graphic artist. This catalog was prepared to accompany the exhibition in Moscow in 1973. It covered his paintings, drawings and book illustrations. 7 color plates + 23 black & white plates.
