This work examines the literary production of Ardengo Soffici between 1907 and 1920, in the light of many unpublished works which are presented here in the second tome. Soffici prefers a autobiographical style which, far from being ?ingenuous?, reveals itself crowded with cultural references. His fragmented style is inspired by both foreign and Italian literary models. A separate chapter is dedicated to the author?s difficult and ambiguous relation with Croce?s aesthetics of ?pure intuition? 2115 gr. 360 p.
