8vo. 5 lines. Together with a dictated letter. A brief letter to thank the painter and sculptor Jean-François Raffaëlli for a drawing: "Votre dessin est très beau. Je vous remercie". - The only known connection between the two artists is Raffaëlli's portrait of Rodin in his studio, done ca. 1889 in gouache, black chalk, and ink. - The dictated letter is dated Paris 28 May 1898, accepting a dinner invitation. - Very slightly soiled.
