To the writer Charles Allerton, giving an evaluation of one of Allerton's dramatic works: "The drama is too small & too sketchy to carry the doubtful interest with a London audience; there are good acting scenes which suffer in my opinion for want of concentration; it would play within one act. This is only my opinion, take it for what's it worth [.]". - On stationety with embossed letterhead of the "Olympic Theatre". Traces of old mounting on the verso. Includes a small collector's note.
