8vo. 1 page on bifolium. To Lady Aimée Jean de Hoghton (1853-1919), wife of Sir James de Hoghton, regretting her being unable to accept an invitation: "I am so very sorry I cannot see you Sunday. My day is more than filled. Thank you so much for your kind note [.]". - With traces of old mounting on the verso and embossed letterhead "Genevieve Ward, Forget-me-not. Olympic Theatre". Some light brownstaining. Includes a small collector's note.
