Description
Oblong 8vo (postcard). ½ page. Inscribed to the German dermatologist Alwin Scharlau. - Conz taught the etching class at the Karlsruhe Academy of Arts from 1902 onwards. He enjoyed particular success with his landscapess and cooperated with the majolica ceramics factory based in Karlsruhe. - Traces of a postmark; faint brownstain near right margin. Self-addressed by the collector on the reverse. The Mecklenburg physician Scharlau (b. 1888) assembled a collection of artists' autographs by personal application.
