Berlin, Wiedmann, 1937. 8vo (24.2 x 16.0 cm). 259 pp.; five plates (including two larger, folded maps), 45 text illustrations. Near contemporary black quarter cloth over marbled boards. Spine with gilt title. = Seldom-seen work on the geology of a mountain range in southern France. The petrographical part is by Franz Angel, the main work by Hans Rudolf von Gaertner. Probably the last part of a series edited by the German geologist Hans Stille. An excellent, clean copy.
