First Edition, and an early printing in the undecorated cloth with six word dedication, 12 pp. advertisements, "be - became" on page 11. 8vo, publisher's original brown textured cloth, the spine panel lettered in gilt. 552, 12pp. ads. A very bright and clean copy, essentially as fine but for some minor evidence of age, former owner’s neat presentation inscription at the top of the free-fly.
