This is a fine hardcover copy with a near fine dust jacket. Completely clean inside and out. Text in English, French and Japanese at the end. Signed in ink, by the artist, Bernard Charoy, and briefly inscribed to two collectors, on the half title-page, just below his printed name. This was the first major monograph on the work of Bernard Charoy (1931- ). The book covers his paintings, drawings, lithographs and book jackets and other illustrations. Hundreds of color and black & white reproductions of Charoy's works (mostly color). Biographical sketch. Charoys perennial subject is young women. Contibutions by Yann le Pichon, Robert Assai, Roger Depresle, and Jean-Claude Perrin. 12" high X 9" wide, 151 pages.
