Poincaré's carte de visite, with four lines of autograph text and his monogram signature. THE TEXT MENTIONS M. (André) MAGINOT, THE MINISTER OF WAR WHO WAS TO PROMOTE THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE FAMOUS "MAGINOT LINE". Poincaré (1860-1934) was elected to the Académie Française in 1909 and served as president of France from 1913 to 1920 (thus during all of World War One). In perfect condition. A great rarity.
