Description
Oblong 8vo. (170 x 106 mm). In pencil. Charming page from a notebook showing sketches of flowers and shadings with indications of colours: "bleu bleu garance vert bleu foncé vert jaune transparent". The highly stylized petals and the colours indicated suggest Dufy's beautiful post-impressionist watercolour flower bouquets. - On the verso is the sketch of a marine horizon with a ship and some buildings on the shore. Minimal browning.
