Peiping (Peking) [Beijing], The Geological Survey of China, 1935. 4to (29.5 x 23.0 cm). 54 pp.; seven plates with explanatory text leaves. Original printed wrappers. = A rarely seen work on the palaeontology of Chinese horses and related taxa. Written by the Austrian vertebrate palaeontologist Otto Karl Josef Zdansky (1894-1988), the discoverer of Peking Man. One species is new. Tiny chip to wrapper edge; otherwise an excellent, clean copy.
