This is a sale catalog for an auction held at Sotheby's in Paris, on December 18, 2002. The sale consisted of an exceptional Rococo silver ensemble by Antoine-Sebastien Durant (1712-1787). Long essay by Alain Gruber illustrated in black & white and color with pages from Durant's sketchbooks, prints, paintings, etc. Many detailed color photographs of the silver pieces in the sale. 11" high X 8" wide, 85 pages.
