Only 300 copies were printed. Limited Edition. Güngor Dilmen was born in Tekirdag in 1930. In 1959, he won a first award with his play "Midas'in Kulaklari" in a competition which was organized by Cinema-Theatre Magazine. In 1960, he graduated from the Department of Classic Philology in the Faculty of Letter at Istanbul University. He received a fellowship and went to the USA to study lighting effects on stages and theater plays at Yale University and Washington University between 1961and 1964. He also went to the Habimak Theatre in Tel Aviv and the National Theatre in Athens to research theaters. In 1964, Dilmen worked at the Lighting Department of the Istanbul Municipality Theatre. In 1966, he then started working at Istanbul Radio as a dramatist. Dilmen taught at Durham University (1971) and Anadolu University (1982-1983). Between 1976 and 1980, he was a chair both in the Dramaturgy Department and the Research and Analysis Department at the Istanbul Municipality Theatre. Dilmen served as a chief in the Theater Department of the TRT Istanbul Radio. As of today, he teaches at the State Conservatory in the Theater Department of Istanbul University.
