Text printed on very fine laid paper; engravings printed on very fine wove paper. Folio. Elegantly bound in contemporary calf. Spine gilt, edges of covers gilt, inner gilt dentelles. All edges gilt. Some general wear to binding but very solid and attractive. INTERNALLY CLEAN. An important milestone in the history of color illustration.
