Illustrated with frontispiece plate of Thomas Bewick,16 fine folio colourplates, 18 folio autotypes and 30 large woodcuts throughout the text. Folio, publisher's fine three-quarter burgundy straight-grain morocco over crimson cloth boards, gilt ruled at the joins, the spine lettered and ruled in gilt, the upper cover lettered and decorated in gilt, original powder blue end-leaves. xii, 72 pp. + plates A fine copy, bright and clean throughout, the binding strong and tight and very handsome.
