Original full cloth with gilt title on the spine and gilt vignette on the front board. = A huge compilation of Texas natural history, geography and geology. The plates show landscapes, excavatings, common and typical fossils - including many molluscs -, etc. Published as Twenty-first annual report of the United States Geological Survey to the Secretary of the Interior 1899-1900. Part VII. Texas. Library stamps on front free endpaper recto and title; binding a bit weak due to the heavy book block, fore edge a bit spotted, otherwise a very good, clean copy.
