Original blind-tooled cloth. Spine with gilt title and vignette. Original black endpapers. = Important work on the geology and especially the palaeontology of Oxfordshire with fine illustrations of fossils, including many molluscs, echinoderms, etc. The geological map and some profiles are coloured. Former owner's name in pencil on the half-title. A few, light spots, but otherwise a very good, clean copy.
