4to., Second Edition, with title-vignette, numerous monochrome illustrations (a number full-page) in the text, and coloured rear endpaper maps; original series binding of red cloth, backstrip lettered in red and black, a very good, bright, clean copy in unclipped dustwrapper, the latter with a few closed tears and minor loss at head and tail of backstrip. The dustwrapper is the first state showing Lodge Park. West's original edition was published in 1939.
