First edition, small 8vo (189 x 120 mm), [2], iv, [2], 132pp., two fold-out genealogical pedigrees, orig. green publishers cloth, spine and upper cover lettered in gilt, some light white paint sprinkles on upper cover. Less concerned with topography than with elucidating the family background of the Sutton family who confusingly changed their name to Dudley. Provenance: From the library of Josceline Grove, with bookplate and their typed catalogue description pasted to front endpapers.
