Sm. folio, First Paperback Edition, with very numerous coloured and monochrome photographs and facsimiles throughout; original pictorial wrappers, a very good, clean copy. Published two years after the first edition. 'Signal' had the largest circulation of any magazine published in Europe during the years 1940-1945. Published fortnightly from April 1940 to March 1945 in as many as twenty languages, its circulation reached a peak of 2.5 million in 1943.
