's-Gravenhage, Dr. W. Junk, 1936-1939. 11 parts in 11. 8vo (25.8 x 18.0 cm). 529 pp. [32;51,(i);84;12;18;32;17;150;50;28;54]. Original, uniform printed wrappers. = A seldom-seen complete set of the first series. Several parts are very uncommon. Most are written by the German entomologist, and editor of this series, Hans Franz paul Hedicke (1891-1949), but the large part 8 (Sphecidae I. (Astatinae - Nyssoninae) is by F. Maidl and A. Klima, 5 is by H. Bischoff, and 2 to 4 are by Klima alone. Uncut. Stamp on the front wrappers of the first seven parts, otherwise very good, clean. A very good set.
