A graduate of Montpellier University, Bahram Elahi (b.1931) is a Doctor of Medicine and a Professor Emeritus in pediatric surgery. Concurrent with his medical practice, he has held positions as a researcher and as a teacher. He has authored numerous scientific articles and medical reference books, and played a key role in establishing a precise and coherent terminology for anatomy in Persian. He has directed three medical universities in Iran, and is a member of several medical institutions. Parallel to his professional career, he has pursued a thorough study of ethics and spirituality for over forty years based on the philosophy of his father, Ostad Elahi, and has written several books on his teachings.
