Lucia Adverse (Brazil 1967) proposes in this work a real forest of female portraits. She researched female artists who lived their lives intensely, studied their biographies and identified them with trees, as if she wanted to extract human expression from nature. Thus, we discover that what began as a photographic exercise turned into creative interpretation, taking fragments from the lives of real characters, personal facts, contemporary identification and real emotions.

Lucia Adverse (Brasil 1967) propôe neste trabalho uma verdadeira floresta de retratos femininos. Após reunir uma coleção de biografias de mulheres artistas que viveram tão intensamente, ela as estuda e as identifica como árvores, como se quisesse extrair expressões humanas da natureza. Assim descobrimos que o que aconteceu no campo da fotografia como um exercício tornou-se interpretação, levando em consideração personagens verdadeiros, fatos pessoais, identificações contemporâneas e emoções reais.
