Miniaturbuch von ca. 1925 mit dem Text aus der "Beggar´s Opera", nur wenige Jahre vor der Dreigroschenoper von Bertolt Brecht (Uraufführung 1928). Buch enthält die handschriftliche Widmung "To Nora for a happy Easter, April 1927" auf dem Vortitel. Original-Verlagstext auf dem Titel: "This edition contains the complete lyrics from "The Beggar's Opera" a selection of the best lyrics from "Polly" and three songs from "Acis and Galatea", together with a brief memoir of Gay's life." Sehr seltenes Miniaturbuch aus britischer Produktion.
