ENGLISH This booklet looks back at Expo 58 - the 1958 Brussels World's Fair - and in particular at 'Ondine', the silver and vermeil epergne made by the silversmiths Wolfers to impress VIP guests at the residence of the Expo's General Commissioner.The epergne, a sort of table centrepiece, was acquired by the King Baudouin Foundation to ensure its preservation and is now housed at the Atomium in Brussels.The booklet comes with a DVD containing over 90 minutes of contemporary films shot during Expo 58, ranging from the preparations and opening to the final day and including footage of the Atomium under construction. The DVD was co-produced by the Belgian Royal Film Archive. text in English.
