8vo., First Edition, with a coloured frontispiece. 16 full-page monochrome photographs and a smaller illustration in the text, neat inscription on front free endpaper; cloth gilt, gilt back, boards very mildly faded else a very good, clean, crisp copy in unclipped dustwrapper, the latter lightly frayed with minor loss at two or three points at edges. The author lived in Winchmore Hill from 1878 to 1948.Very uncommon in the dustwrapper.
