Description
No marks or inscriptions. A very clean very tight copy with unmarked dark grey cloth boards and no bumping to corners. Dust jacket not price clipped or marked or torn or creased with tiny nick to upper front corner and minor traces of storage. 168pp. Before the land of Nubia in Upper Egypt was lost under the waters of Lake Nasser behind the Aswan Dam in the 1960s, the author travelled among the Nubian people from the 1930s onwards. This book is a record of her journeys where she captured the vibrancy, colour and the culture of these people in words, sketches, drawings, photographs and paintings, mostly in colour.
