Also includes the FIRST PRINTING of Guillaume Colletet's extensive account of Ronsard's life, written shortly after the poet's death. 5 leaves; 308 pp. plus 2 plates. Edition limited to 200 copies in this format (there were an additional 25 copies printed in large folio), of which this is one of 180 beautifully printed on fine laid paper. Laumonier (pp. 78-80) devotes a long and well-annotated article to this publication, specifying exactly what had and what hadn't previously appeared in print. 8vo.
