Fiirst edition copies of Volumes I and I printed in 1929 and 1932 respectively. xvii, [3], 380; xv, [1], 517 pages. Black and white photographic plates. Fold-out colour maps. Indexes. "Deals with the political events which led to the initiation of the Dardanelles campaign, the naval attacks in February and March, the landings of the Expeditionary Force in April and the fighting at Helles and Anzac during the first fortnight ashore. Vol II completes the story of the campaign, up to and including the final evacuation. Please note: we are not offering the other two volumes which contain appendices and maps. No dust jackets.
