London, The Royal Society, 1841. Large 4to (30.0 x 23.5 cm). 6 pp., two fine lithographed plates, seven text engravings. Disbound. = A detailed study based on incomplete but otherwise well-preserved specimens. Part of the shield is reconstructed (drawn in outline) on one of the plates. Published in the Society's Philosophical Transactions for the year 1841. Plate margins slightly age-toned, otherwise a very good, clean copy.
