A very clean very tight copy with bright well-handled boards and no bumping to corners. 95pp. The author became Guide to the Sands (of Morecambe Bay) in 1963 and since then has become the expert on the area. This book concentrates on fishing and fisherfolk but also looks at the history and wildlife of an area extending from the Lune estuary across to Walney Island - as well as the walk across the Bay itself on which he has led thousands of people during his time there.
