[OTTOMAN OENOLOGY: INCENTIVE for OTTOMAN WINE PRODUCERS] Bagcilik ve sarabcilik: Osmanli bagcilarina imâl eylemekte olduklari sarablarin islâh cinsi içün vesâyâ-yi ameliye. In the last period of the Ottoman Empire, at the beginning of the 20th century, the Western Anatolian grapes and their wines were already famous and known to the western world. During this period, within the nationalization efforts of the Ottoman economy, a small number of guides were prepared for the national wine-producers. This treatise is one of them prepared by Düyun-u [Düyûn-i Umûmiye-i Osmaniye Varidât-i Muhassasa Idare-i Merkeziye.; i.e. 'Ottoman Foreign Debt Supervision Agency']. Düyûn-u Umûmiye was an institution that supervised the external debts of the Ottoman Empire between the years of 1881 and 1939. It was hoped that incentives like these would be provided national income in the last period of the Ottoman Empire. AH 1327 = AD 1911. First Edition in 1910 [AH 1326]. This is Second Edition. Extremely rare. Özege 1469.; TBTK 5482.
