As interestingly no translation in the Ottoman period of Pinocchio although it includes many moral elements and its didactic context. Ottoman society was caring moral and educational children literature, therefore many children books were translated in the Ottomans. But, even so Pinocchio was one of the latest translations, it was translated in the early Republican period under the early movement of Republican Turkish illumination, especially in the world literature.
