Tela nera editoriale, privo di sovraccoperta, EX LIBRIS (bello ma contornato da aloni da colla), del benefattore e imprenditore Giuseppe Orlando di Fornaci di BARGA e del suo timbrino. Due scritte a matita. Notevole il capitolo EUTHANASIA: "Though it is his duty to fight death every inch of the way, a wise physician will know when to cease from administering powerful stimulants suche as strychnine and digitalin. Up to a c4ertain point they are invaluable in lenghtening life, but when that point is reached th physician should lay them down". Uscito a Londra nel luglio 1926 (dunque prima dell'ed. USA di Putnam, 1917, spacciata nel web come prima edizione!).
