In Persian. 6 volumes set: ([12], 1472 p.; 1473-2860 pp.; 2861-2977 pp.; 3978-5101 pp.; 5102-5614 pp.; [and] [20], 1014 p.). Each page has double columns numbered separately. Extremely rare set of the best reference for this bibliography including printed books in Persian published from the earliest times to the present and worldwide (including Iran, India, Afghanistan, Turkey, Central Asia, and other Islamic countries and regions) between 1808-1967; with very rare one volume bibliography of the printed books in Iran in the Arabic language. Overall, this set is still the best reference for printed books in Persian and Arabic in the Islamic world. The first volume of this corpus in alphabetical order printed in 1958, a second volume appeared in 1961, and a three-volume second edition in 1973. For the second volume of his work, Mushar used Storey's famous bibliography. With years of extensive research and study on Iranian printing history, Mushar was able to compile a descriptive and analytical catalogue of books of over 20,000 titles. And to collect these lists, he traveled to almost all places in Iran and many Islamic countries. In 1394 Iran Book Publishing House published a festschrift book on his life and activities in a series of books titled "The Celebrities of Contemporary Iranian Literature". Mushar was born in [Sh.] 1279 in the period of the Qajar Dynasty. Upon completion of elementary and secondary education, he served in the Ministry of Finance for 21 years. In addition to book cataloging, he also worked on donated books and donated a lot of books. We can't trace any complete set in OCLC.
