Presunta edizione originale dell'importante e curioso studio del letterato inglese John Fry sulla situazione matrimoniale ed i matrimoni tra parenti e affini nell'Inghilterra di fine Settecento. In fine resoconto sulle unioni tra clandestini. Il nome dell'autore John Fry si ricava dalla dedica a pag. VI. Buon esemplare, fresco (lievissimo alone al margine interno dei primi ff.), ex-libris cartaceo alla controsguardia anteriore, qualche nota ms. marginale.
