Sm. 8vo., on laid paper, with numerous fine woodcut illustrations (a number FINELY COLOURED BY HAND); original coloured paper wrappers, expertly recased to style, a remarkably bright, fresh, crisp copy. With 4pp publisher's advertisement at end. Splendid copy of this fine facsimile reissue, published in Leadenhall's 'Illustrated Shilling Series of Forgotten Children's Books', of the scarce original edition of 1811. The hand colouring is elegant and clearly the result of a practised hand. THE LEADENHALL FACSIMILES ARE NOW VERY SCARCE IN THEIR RIGHT, ESPECIALLY IN THIS CONDITION.
