Con 11 tavole in litogr. a colori f.t., di cui una su doppia pag., una carta ripieg., 4 silografie in nero, di cui 2 f.t. Prima edizione in inglese, contemporanea alla prima tedesca, di questo ampio resoconto sui tentativi e sulle prime ascensioni del Doldenhorn e del Weisse Frau effettuate dall'autore e dal suo compagno E. Von Fellenberg nel 1862. Rara e importante opera sulle Alpi bernesi. Esemplare con diffuse bruniture della carta. Perret 1602.
