This collection was put together over sixty years and is considered to be the finest collection of antique metal transport toys ever assembled. Uniformly bound in dark red leatherette without dust jackets as issued, titled in gilt. The previous owner has written in hammer prices in very small numbers next to most lots. Also lacking the white front endpaper of volume one. These are sale catalogs for auctions held at the Bertoia Auction Gallery in Vineland, New Jersey. Volume 1, the sale was held on March 19, 20 and 21, 2009. Volume 2, the sale was held on September 25-26, 2009. Volume 3, the sale was held April 16-17, 2010. Volume 4, the sale was held on September 24-25, 2010. Volume 5, the sale was held on April 15-16, 2011. Many thousands of lots in the sale. All illustrated with color photographs.
