Description
London, British Ornithological Union, 1920. 8vo. xxxviii, 1022 pp.; 18 plates (five coloured). Original red embossed cloth with gilt title on the spine, and gilt vignette on the front board. Top edge gilt. = A volume from one of the longest running and most influential ornithological magazines. Especially the earlier years, with fine plates by Keulemans, Grönvold and others, are very uncommon and sought-after. Spine slightly sunned, as usual but in very good condtion, with very slight wear to top and bottom edge of the spine.
