First Irish Edition, 12mo, 144pp., previous owners name cut from upper blank margin of half-title, cont. half, joints starting, rubbed, head and tail of spine chipped, red morocco title label. Translated by Edward Augustus Kendall from the French edition ëLa chaumiËre indienneí, Paris, 1791. This Dublin edition was published in the same year as the first English edition. With the armorial bookplate of ëBiddleí, and a presentation inscription on front-free endpaper ìChistine H. Biddle from R. P. Baird.î ESTC finds 2 copies (National Library of Ireland & St Patrickís College Library); Garside & Schwˆerling, 1791:64.
