3 vols., 8vo., New Reset Edition, with coloured frontispieces, full-page coloured illustrations in the text, smaller line drawings, and endpaper maps in red and black; red cloth, upper boards blocked in gilt with 'JRRT' monogram, gilt backs, a fine copy in publisher's illustrated board slip-case. Lee's classic illustrations were first published in Harper Collins' 'New' [single-volume] edition of 1991. This is their first appearance in the work in its original three-volume form. VERY SCARCE, ESPECIALLY IN THIS CONDITION.
